| Photo Details
This picture was taken from the top of the Great Stone Chute above Coire Lagan. The Stone Chute is the main access point to Sgurr Alasdair, the highest point on Skye and is a long and very steep gully of loose scree (rock). The mountain in the foreground is Sgurr nan Eag with Gars-bheinn behind. |

The weather, in true Skye style quickly changed with cloud rapidly rising up from Coire Lagan and covering the summits a few minutes after this picture was taken. Unfortunately, the view from the summit of Sgurr Alasdair was the familiar inside of a cloud that has started to become the norm during our trips to Skye. The only good thing about these often frustrating conditions is that it gives you a great excuse to return another day!
