The areas of Assynt and Coigach are among the most beautiful and stunning in the British Isles with bold Torridonian Sandstone peaks, secluded bays and beaches and quiet wooded straths, bounded to the west by the Atlantic Ocean and to the east by the famous Moine Thrust (a geological feature that marks the boundary with a very different landscape to the east). Our area extends eastwards and south to include the still very beautiful Ullapool area and the mountains, moorlands and lochs as far as Ben Wyvis in the south and Loch Shin in the north east.
