Coire an t-Sneachda, a climbers playground. Parties of walkers and climbers head down from the coire and from the Cairngorm plateau down the Fiacaill a’ Choire Chais on a wild winters afternoon. The strong westerly wind made it difficult to hold the camera anything like still and I was being blasted by spindrift and blown ice fragments. Thankfully bright snowy conditions allowed a fast shutter speed! Earlier the coire and tops had been completely shrouded by the cloud so I was very happy to get this view from a liitle way above the top of the Cairngorm Mountain Fiacaill Ridge tow.
