Fisherfield and Torridon are areas of great beauty in the north west Highlands with towering red Torridonian Sandstone peaks capped with white quartzite, deep glens with fast flowing rivers and intricate and beautiful coastlines. The main Torridon peaks are easily accessible from the A896 which runs through Glen Torridon. Fisherfield is one of the great wilderness areas of the Highlands and is home to the 2 most remote Munros, A’ Mhaighdean and Ruadh Stac Mor as well as a host of other stunning wild and remote hills. One of Scotland’s most celebrated mountains An Teallach lies at the northern edge of Fisherfield above Dundonnell on Little Loch Broom.
