A view from the main summit of Arkle in wintry weather looking south east to the south top of Arkle and the hills around Loch Merkland and the north end of Loch Shin beyond. Meallan a’ Chuail, a shapely 750m peak that just misses out on Corbett status is the hill on the right of the photo with a massive plume of spindrift/cloud being blown up from its NE-SW oriented summit ridge lying perpendicular to the strong wind of the day. The photo was taken on the same day as Foinaven Wreathed In Snow.
