The Bhasteir Tooth, Am Basteir and Sgurr nan Gillean from Sgurr a’ Fionn Choire at the northern end of the Cuillin ridge on Skye. This photo was taken during a traverse of the peaks in view, the Bhasteir Tooth being a particular highlight for me as its one of the technically most tricky Munro Tops and one that I had long wondered about scaling. As it happened the Lota Corrie Route on the southern flank provided a surprisingly straight forward scramble to the peak with the subsequent step up to Am Basteir providing a much more tricky short section.
